MP 349/17 Corporate Actions Officer

A vacancy has arisen for an Accounting Assistant within our prestigious Life Assurance Client's Investments Department.

Working in support of multiple departments and their interface processes, you will be involved in many aspects of the investment lifecycle, including Asset set-up, Dividend Processing, and Fund Administration.

Role Profile:

- Receive and review notifications of corporate events
- Where an election is required, organise distribution to customers, setting deadlines and communicating these clearly
- Monitor the corporate actions diary and email inbox
- Deal with enquiries from customers and agents
- input events to the Investment Administration Systems
- Set up Assets on the Investment Administration Systems

Person Profile:

- Understanding of investments and portfolio administration
- can work quickly and accurately to deadlines
- good oral and written communication
- ability to work independently
- good use of judgement on matters appropriate for escalation
- ability to process work in an organised manner

Desirable, but not essential:

- experience in processing corporate actions, preferably within a Life Assurance company
- experience working in an investment administration team

Salary: 18k - £22k
