MP 256/17 Project Manger

We have a new-to-island Client, establishing a HQ operation, and have now had released a new wave of roles. This wave includes the establishment and recruitment of a Programme Management Office (PMO). This position is for a Project Manager.

Role Brief: Duties to include (but not limited to):
- Development of Business Case(s) for your project(s)
- Development of Project plans for end-to-end delivery, including resource planning
- Development of budgets
- An appropriate risk & issues log, rating, and evidenced mitigation plan
- Periodic Status Reporting
- Establish required AGILE Scrum meetings
- Definition and management of sprints
- Adherence to PMO standards and Governance
- Mentor and development of Junior Project Support Officers and Junior PMs

Person Profile:
- A minimum of 3 Years' experience in a similar position
- Full lifecycle delivery experience
- Experienced in AGILE methodology (ideally Certified, but not essential)
- Knowledge of ITIL V6 Service Introduction / Service Transition
- 5 GCSEs at Grade C or higher (or qualified by professional experience)
- A superior communicator - verbal and written
- Excellent experience with MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Sharepoint, PowerPoint, VISIO, MS Project)
